Sheet metal cold stamping processing sheet selection

2023-01-03 17:15:16

Sheet metal cold stamping processing is a processing technology commonly used in processing. Among them, cold stamping processing is an important process of its processing. To process high-quality sheet metal parts, every step from the selection of plate materials to the subsequent acceptance is very important. , let's take a look at the material selection of sheet metal cold stamping processing.

For sheet metal cold stamping processing, our city must strictly follow the requirements of lp-QB-001, lp-QB-003, lp-QB-005 or select materials according to the requirements of drawings. Sheets are allowed to have individual minor scratches, indentations, concavities, and cleaning marks, the depth of which shall not exceed half of the sheet thickness tolerance zone. It also depends on the surrounding quality of the board. All cutting edges must be flush, without sharp corners, sharp edges, burrs, or cracks, and the corners should be smooth.

The limit deviation of stamping parts without tolerance molding dimensions, the size deviation not required by the drawings shall be inspected according to gb/T15055-94, which is divided into four levels (f, m, c, v), and F level is used, expressed as GB/T15055-94 T 150055-f. This standard does not apply when the stamped parts are stampings and cold extrusions. GB 1804-m should be selected for inspection.

Inspection standards for sheet metal parts:

Check parts such as ventilation holes, lightening holes, and reinforcing ribs. Check the punching quality, there should be no burrs, adhesion and blanking, etc. If this phenomenon occurs, the mold should be repaired.

Defects that are not allowed for bending parts, cracks at the bending corners, obvious indentations on the surface of the bending parts, obvious inconsistencies in the end faces of the bending parts, and uneven shape. For cold stamping parts with molds, when the quality of the first batch of processed parts is stable, they do not need to be inspected one by one in the future, but they can be randomly inspected. After the problem, when the workpiece has passed the test again and the process quality is stable, it can be produced in batches. For stamping parts that are not made of forming molds, when the material cost is high and the early processing cost is also high, the quantity of each batch is small. The quality of parts should be inspected one by one, and counting random inspection can be used for large batches of products.
